Estimation Of Pelagic Fishing Area in Banten’s Southern Sea

The purpose of this research are to determine the average distribution SST, chlorophyll-a, and see surface currents, analyze relationship between them with pelagic fish catches as an analysis material for determining fishing area in Banten’s Southern Sea. Data collected includes SST chlorophyll-a using Aqua MODIS images data currents from Copernicus Marine 6 years. was processed produce value each parameter then analyzed parameters potential area. results showed that throughout 2016 had a relatively high allegedly due negative Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD). During eastern until end second transitional season 2019 there positive IOD which caused decrease be larger than other seasons. See western tend have stronger currents. around Tanjung Mantiyung, Muara Binuangeun, dan Panto.
